Hi everyone,
So here is an image roughly of how the TAM 'world' looks like in my head. I drew it when I first started writing the story so I can visualise how the travel would be like. Hope it helps you guys too! It's not a complete map but I'll add it on one of the tabs and update it as the story progresses.
Chapter 6 is already up and I'm furiously writing chapters 8 and 9 to keep up with the posting. I hope you are enjoying the story and I do really hope to get more comments from people - I live for them! When you don't get paid, that's the only payment you can get I guess. :)

Taming an Immortal updates
I'm very happy with the progress of the chapters so far. Am starting Chapter 9 today and re-editing chapter 4, so that should be within the week.
I've had great comments - mainly from Inuyasha fans but I have to say that even if you're not a fan, I think I've done a decent job of giving enough back story for you to appreciate the plot - which on its own has nothing to do with the anime.
As I go along, I see the subplots coming together for possible future continuation of the story, so if you have any favourite characters you'd like me to write about, please do write to me!
But for now, if you haven't guessed already who the characters are based on, here's a picture that I've blown up in my study room to inspire me. (Credits and thank you to the original artist for this!)
It's not a romantic picture per se but you can see the undercurrents in their face and the way they stand close, yet apart. His eyes are softened; almost sad when he looks at her while she has this hopeful look that is laced with sorrow. And yet, these are the only two in the world who accept each other as they are - she, the cast away orphan and him, the much feared demon lord (or in Totosai's words - evil incarnate).
It is the essence of their relationship. So poignant.
*sigh*
Okay I'm off to finish Chapter 9!

Musical Companions
I found this chilling piano piece by Greg Maroney on youtube a while ago and thought I'd share it here. This is entitled Breathe.
Such soothing music is really wonderful to listen to when you're trying to study. There's another song that I particularly like to listen to and for the Canadians out there, I think you might recognize this song as part of the Air Canada commercial. It's El Vuelo by Hughes De Courson.
Aren't they just amazing? Okay now I can't study after watching that.

Interestingly while the title means 'the flight' in Spanish, I don't think the song is. But I usually just make up the lyrics when I listen to it. Hehe.
Anyway, these songs make me wanna dance; sway and move together with the music... kinda like water.
Not sure how many of you were schlepped into ballet lessons when you were young but me and my sister were. Actually I tried to rebel out of the tutus (which I did at the age of 10) but surprisingly, I took up dancing again when I went to junior college (senior high is it?). I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with jazz-lyrical but that's what I can do. Seph calls it rubbish dancing but its alot harder than it looks. Alot of the basics are grounded in ballet but it's much much more energetic. Plus you can dance it to modern songs. Like the video below. It's a great example. Can't tell you how I wish I could do a choreography like that!

Help!
1) A name for a male character. Doesn't have to be too unique. The character's an ambivalent bad/good guy at this moment but let's say you need to give Eric Dane another name, what would it be? Lol.
[That's a picture of him by the way.]
2) A title for the sequel. I know some of you read the draft right? Any ideas?
3) A location for the sequel's setting. I was discussing with my editor about possible locations in US. I wanted a place that a lawyer would consider a great place for career building but at the same time, the city/state needs to have lots of forests and natural landscape.
I thought of Boston and she suggested Denver. I've never been to America before so I'm not sure where is a good place. So my dear American readers, any suggestions?

An image of Erika [as how I imagine her to be]
I know I don't explicitly say she's half Asian except that she has an Irish tilt to her voice right? But she is.
That's probably because I've been listening too much to Marie Digby these few days.
She has this very simple and clean voice that I find very captivating.
Although she doesn't have that prominent Irish accent [she lives in LA], I still like the way she speaks. Kinda sounds like me though. *laughs*
Anyway, here's a video of Marie singing and I thought I'd just share it here because listening to her gives me some inspiration for Erika's character and I know I haven't developed her relationship with Alaron yet partly because I'm tentative about it.
Her purpose in this story is to provide a tension for the Culzean siblings and to give them to bond over a real problem in which Fiona is not the main cause.
Okay so here's the song I'm listening to at the moment.
Anyway on the topic of half-Japanese singers, here is Justin Nozuka. This song is just amazing. I mean he's singing live and it's so clear and soulful! And then Marie comes in and harmonizes so sweetly =)

Marie is really so cute. I just saw a video of her speaking Japanese and while she's confident, she has that hesitant way of speaking going Anu, Anu... That's like 'errr' or 'like'. And I love how the Japanese speak English with their Japanese accent as well. Really cool.

Disney will never be the same again
As usual, I get distracted by the www whenever I'm supposed to be studying and today I came across this website that had drawings of fairytale princes and princess in the most sexiest pose ever! I think the Princes drawings came from David Kawena here. This guy is seriously talented. Now I feel like in the mood for Fantasy writing. -laughs-
Now if REAL mermaids and fairies looked like that.... HOT!
This photo just puts a whole new meaning to Werewolf love.
I love the contrast of the sexy belle against the darker more sinister Beast.
And so we move on to my favourite topic- men. Hehe.
First up is my absolute favourite- not because he's the hottest but coz he's the geekiest. Like seriously... if a geek gets naked and you see all that, who wouldn't drool right?
That's not rippling body but nice and contoured enough for me.
Right next up, we have the human form of Beast from Beauty and the Beast. I think his name is Adam. Okay Eian... if you had a face you'd look like that. I mean with a boner like that... [okay sorry... getting distracted by animated creations]

-sigh- I shan't upload the rest or I'd end up ogling at them instead of doing my work.
